I ordered this knife with the 99 cents for 3 items welcome coupon. I'm usually hesitant to order knives online as i like to see and feel them before making the purchase. I was pleasantly surprised when i received the item.
Pros: the style and feel are excellent. The blade is heavy and sturdy. Out of the box, it was sharp enough to easily cut through a sheet of paper. A good-looking knife for any collection.
Cons: although it could cut paper, i'm still going to sharpen it further. It's not necessarily bad, but i like my knives razor sharp. The only other issue i have is the handle. It's made of a weak plastic, that i fear won't hold up with frequent use. I'm going to attempt making one out of wood and replacing it.

The knife was razor sharp upon delivery. The handle is plastic but seems durable. It is a good size for peeling fruits and vegetables and also slicing meat.
