I'm happy with this purchase. It took me a minute, to figure out how to use it. But now that i know i'm very happy with it. I have very long hair almost down to my waist, and i've been looking for ways to keep it up that don't damage it. I don't need to use a haircut.i can just wrap it up, pin it and go. It stays in pretty. If i don't pin it right, the end will loosen up quicker. But in general, it works well, i work nine hour shifts, and it stays in the whole time. It's made of plastic, but it's not flimsy. I love the color, it's not a coating on top. The plastic is that color so i don't have to worry about the color flaking off. I put it next to a hairbrush for a size comparison.

This is cute, if you have long thick hair probably not for you because this item is a little bit flimsy. I have thin medium length hair so it works fine for me.
